The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County invites applications from local musical soloists, duos, or trios interested in appearing at The Square in Downtown West Palm Beach on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. Musical styles/genres of interest include Jazz, R&B, Soul, Latin, Classical, Contemporary Folk, and World music.
NOTE: Only residents of Palm Beach County are eligible to submit for this opportunity. If applying as a duo or trio, at least one member of the ensemble must reside in Palm Beach County. Musicians must have their own reliable transportation to/from The Square, provide their own equipment, and be able to load in, set up, and load out on their own.
The deadline for submitting an application is September 30, 2022.
Early submissions (by September 1) are strongly encouraged.

Weekly set times:
Performances are presented between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings, and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Please indicate your preferred/available days and times when submitting an application.
The Square will provide:
- 2 speakers, complimentary garage parking, and a tent for shade during the performance; All other necessary instruments and equipment (amp, mic, mixers, cords, stools, etc.) will be supplied by the performer/s.
- Selected artists/ensembles will be paid a stipend of $150/hour
- In the event of inclement weather, the contracted artist would receive:
- 25% of the total rate when cancelled within a 24-hour window of the scheduled performance time
- No fee if cancelled prior to 24 hours of performance time
- In the event of inclement weather, the contracted artist would receive:
- Eligible artists will be selected/contacted by The Square directly.
