Experience Meditation, Channeling, and a Death Cafe
During Being Well, Well Being Exhibition at Cultural Council for Palm Beach County

Lake Worth Beach, Fla. – Art has long been recognized as a powerful form of care – for the body, mind, and spirit. Now, emerging research shows that viewing art in galleries can significantly reduce stress and lower cortisol levels. Taking note, the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County is proud to present Being Well, Well Being, a new exhibition featuring 14 local artists whose work reflects healing, resilience, and joy through creative expression. Additionally, six Palm Beach County-based poets will also have their poetry on display.

Being Well, Well Being offers the public a chance to experience how art can heal, connect, and uplift, proving that creativity itself is a vital form of care.

During the exhibition’s run, the public is invited to the Cultural Council for three free Exhibition Extensions to experience art and wellness.

Rest as Ritual: A Guided Meditation on February 14 at 2 p.m. (RSVP)
Participants will enjoy an immersive meditation experience with new presenter Dakota Dawkins. This inward journey incorporates guided breathwork, mindfulness practices and sound therapy to create a deeply relaxing atmosphere that will facilitate a sense of inner peace and calmness within both body and mind.
Listening Beyond: A Channeling Experience on February 28 at 2 p.m. (RSVP)
For the past 40 years, ASANDRA has worked professionally as a full-trance Channel and has an international clientele. ASANDRA’s channeling focuses on assisting participants in understanding their soul-purpose and how to navigate that path. In this workshop, participants will be led into a light trance to make contact with their guides.
Gathering in Care: A Death Cafe on March 28 at 2 p.m. (RSVP)
Death is a part of life. Let’s talk about it – honestly, openly – with artist, writer, and End-of Life doula Michelle Miller. Death Cafe offers a relaxed, respectful space to talk about mortality and share reflections over drinks and snacks. There’s no agenda, no objectives, and no conclusions – just thoughtful dialogue guided by those who attend.

Being Well, Well Being runs February 6 to April 4, 2026 at the Cultural Council’s headquarters in downtown Lake Worth Beach and is free for the public to experience. (Public Hours). For more information, visit palmbeachculture.com/exhibitions.
