Pop-Up Lecture: Israel and Zionism in the Crossfire: A Discussion with Professor Eyal Lewin

In this one-time special Pop-Up event, Professor Rabil will host Professor Eyal Lewin, Chair of the Department of Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science at Ariel University, to discuss the challenges, progress and prospects of the Abraham Accords, Israel-Saudi Arabia-USA peace negotiations, Iran/Hezbollah “United Front” against Israel, Israel-Palestinian relationship and the future of the West Bank/Judea and Samaria, Israel’s domestic polarization and societal ideological split, and the future of Israel and Diaspora’s Zionism. Academically, politically, and socially active on and off campus of Ariel University in the urban Israeli settlement of Ariel in the West Bank and serving as an officer at the rank of Major at the Home Front Command in the reserve forces of the IDF, Professor Lewin, a gifted, prolific and sober thinker, is fully aware of and most equipped to understand, examine and speak about the challenges and prospects facing Israel and Zionism now and in the future.
