As an activity to mark World Autism Month, on Sunday, April 14, the Museum will offer a Family Autism Art Workshop.
The free program will include an art making workshop featuring the technique of assemblage, inspired by the artist Deborah Willis.
In this program, families will:
- Take an interactive walk through the contemporary art exhibition galleries.
- Make art inspired by the artist Deborah Willis with arts educator Manuela Gonzalez.
- Receive free admission to the Museum.
There will be accommodations, including a social narrative (Social Story™), headphones, fidgets, quiet areas, accessible art materials and timers.
