Elegant Threads

“Elegant Threads” celebrates wearable and non-wearable fiber arts, bringing together a stunning array of masterful creations by talented artists who will compete for awards. The community is invited to attend an Awards Reception in the gallery with light bites and refreshments on October 19, 2023, 5 – 7 pm. Also showcased are masterpieces from internationally renowned artists such as Bisa Butler and Lezley Saar (on loan from the private collection of Beth Rudin DeWoody) and sculptures from renowned artist Muriel Kaplan. Kaplan, featured in the 2023 Fall Art & Culture magazine issue, will also show two sculptures created by the prominent Palm Beach artist and reimagined by Lighthouse ArtCenter’s Curator, Janeen Mason. Elegant Threads will culminate in a spectacular Runway Show on Thursday, November 16, 5 – 7 pm, with inspirational garments and wearable art presented in a visually immersive experience.
