Beyond Blossoms: Interactive Moth Project

Attendees: Please join us in the Cultural Council’s Project Space on the south side behind the Cultural Council’s headquarters.

During this event, curators Wendy DesChene and Jeff Schmuki will set up white tents with lights inside them to attract moths. DesChene and Schmuki will be on hand throughout the event to speak to guests about the value of pollinators and their ongoing project collecting information about them. Guests will help count the moths for an ongoing project that the curators are doing about pollinators. We will also be inviting University of Florida extension agents to discuss native plants that attract pollinators.
