With 29 participating organizations, this year’s MOSAIC offerings are better than ever, with deals that include buy-one-get-one-free museum admission, discounts on art experiences, reduced admission for concerts and more.

Here are a few of our top picks for MOSAIC offers this May:

Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens

Nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway just south of downtown West Palm Beach, the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens comprises the former residence of sculptor Ann Weaver Norton and features monumental garden sculptures, a collection of 250 rare species of tropical palms and cycads and 100 works of art. The gardens feel a bit like a gorgeous secret garden, and our family loves the ethereal beauty that exists here. Through MOSAIC, visitors who buy one full price ticket will get 50 percent off the second ticket during the month of May.

Boca Raton Museum of Art

A world class art destination located in Mizner Park, the Boca Raton Museum of Art is the cultural heart of the city. Housed in an expansive postmodern building designed by famed architect Donald Singer, the museum’s unforgettable exhibitions, permanent collections and art school continue to attract visitors from across the world. Two years ago, we attended Whitfield Lovell’s stunning touring exhibition “Passages” at the museum, and I always look forward to new art experiences with my children. During MOSAIC, visitors can access BOGO (buy one, get one free) admission to the museum throughout the month.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum

Operated by the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum showcases more than 8,000 years of documented Florida history and manages the landmark 1860 lighthouse, which offers breathtaking views of the Jupiter Inlet. A much-loved day trip spot for our family, visiting the lighthouse and museum are two history-filled destinations that my children always look forward to. Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery and School of Art

Located at the northern end of the county, Tequesta’s Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery and School of Art is a lively art center that includes an art school, ongoing exhibitions and dynamic special events. I adore the ArtCenter’s exhibitions and have heard rave reviews about the school’s art classes — which is why I’m especially excited about this year’s MOSAIC offer. The school will offer new participants BOGO tickets for its popular ‘Select Fridays’ classes for the month of May. These classes are fun-filled, two-hour evenings that allow guests to try a new artistic discipline (such as glass, jewelry, ceramics and painting).

Mounts Botanical Garden

The oldest and largest botanical garden in The Palm Beaches, Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach boasts a 20-acre tropical oasis with 25 unique gardens and 7,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical plants. This season, our family has particularly enjoyed Andy Cobb’s “Ribbit The Exhibit II,” an exhibition featuring 18 larger-than-life whimsical sculptures (on display through May 25). Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society

Florida’s top-rated zoological experience, the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society in West Palm Beach is home to more than 500 animals across 23 acres of lush tropical habitat. With animals that include endangered Malayan tigers, Mexican spider monkeys and jaguars, a visit to the zoo is always an enriching experience. We’ve been frequent zoo visitors for decades, and two of my favorite features are its beautifully shaded walkways and play areas for children. Spady Cultural Heritage Museum

The only museum of its kind in The Palm Beaches, the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum in Delray Beach is dedicated to discovering, collecting, and sharing the African American history and heritage of Florida. Our family has experienced a guided tour of the museum, and it’s filled with wonderful history of the settlers and residents who shaped the history of Delray Beach.
