Palm Beach Gardens: Art for All
Thanks to an award-winning Art in Public Places Program, it’s no exaggeration to say that culture lies just around the corner in Palm Beach Gardens. Some five dozen uniquely appealing works can be found throughout the community from the Municipal Complex to the grounds of local businesses and even the PGA Boulevard Flyover.
The visual arts thrive through the city’s 25-year-old GardensArt program, which offers changing exhibitions at City Hall, as well as in the gallery at the Eissey Campus of Palm Beach State College. Meanwhile, the Eissey Campus Theatre offers music, theater and dance performances by international artists in its Arts in the Garden Series.
Well-known to golfers as the home of the PGA and the Honda Classic as well as shoppers who frequent Downtown at the Gardens and the Gardens Mall, this culturally rich community also attracts thousands of people each February to one of the top 50 festivals in the country, ArtiGras – an annual celebration of outstanding fine art and lively entertainment.
Culture is truly intertwined in the personality of Palm Beach Gardens, where the arts play a prominent and public role every day.
