Whitespace Collection introduces a premier boutique event, Collect1-2-3-4-5, showcasing the best in wearable design: jewelry, textiles, and sculptural accessories.

Seeking the ultimate in wearable art, with items priced at a minimum of $80 per item, and maximum of $1500 per item. Items may be one of a kind or in multiple, with the level of craft and innovation expected for the upscale market.

Call for Artists: SOCIAL CODE Juried Exhibition

SOCIAL CODE is an exhibition of new works by local, state and national artists. The concept of the show is to demystify Art vs. Social Media as written about by Ben Davis, to create a social networking art show, and to provide artists an opportunity to show their work here at Arts Warehouse. Can an Instagram feed be a curated gallery? Is social media pulling us away from seeing works in person? How has the social aspect of our lives impacted our artistic practices? This call for art is seeking work that may explore or explain any of these questions as well as the general “battle” of Art vs. Social Media. This theme is open to interpretation by the artist – all mediums and ideas welcome. Applications and all artwork due July 20th, 2018.

2018 Florida Biennial – Open Call to Artists

As a ninth juried Art and Culture Center/Hollywood open call, the 2018 Florida Biennial is open to artists residing in the state of Florida working in any medium. This edition focuses on exploring multicultural identities, discussing ecological issues, and imagining a robust cultural climate for Florida within the global economy. The exhibition opens September 14 from 6-9 pm and will run through Oct. 21, 2018.
