Healthy, Safe & Strong Fund

Posted: May 4, 2018

Children’s Services Council Palm Beach County (CSC) sets aside special funds each year to assist in sponsoring public awareness events, conferences and community outreach activities for children and families in Palm Beach County. The public awareness events, conferences and activities are important to the Children’s Services Council in achieving its goals.

These funds are intended to support organizations’ activities and efforts that do not fit within the funding parameters of Children’s Services Council, but support the Council’s goals. The maximum to be awarded for any single event is $2,500. No one organization may be awarded more than $2,500 per CSC’s fiscal year (October 1 – September 30).

Grant Training Workshop

Posted: April 18, 2018

This advanced workshop has been developed to help grant writers and program staff get on the same page – to collect data required by funders without burdening program staff, to properly budget for program expenses and for program staff to spend grant money on the correct things by the correct deadline for funder reporting.

Each is dependent on the other – without grant money, programs don’t happen. And without data collection and spending grant funds the way they are intended on schedule, you won’t get more grants. This training will help you put mechanisms in place that facilitate the work of both development and program implementation staff.

Facilitators:
Rachel Waterman
Margaret Reynolds
