The Cultural Council invites families to discover the arts together as they connect and create memories while acquiring new skills through visual art, dance and theater. Family Saturdays is a free program presented by various arts and cultural organizations in Palm Beach County. Each monthly event is hosted at the Councilās headquarters in downtown Lake Worth Beach and runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Palm Beach Opera brings families together through the magic of Opera: Stories Told Through Singing. Through this interactive sing-a-long storytelling experience, families will learn and sing memorable opera tunes. Storytime is followed by an art activity for all to experience and enjoy.

Family Saturdays: Chemical Concoctions

Come join us for a scientific adventure! Each family will have the opportunity to make their own polymer (squishy soap!) while conducting experiments that reinforce chemistry concepts of atoms, density and changes in states of matter.

Family Saturdays: Kid's Corner, Sea Turtle Fun

Sea turtles are important animals in our ecosystem and it is important to keep them safe and healthy. Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) staff as we guide children through the process of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing an injured sea turtlesājust like we do at the Sea Turtle Hospital at LMC!
This program is for all ages and will include art making.
