The Impact of Cultural Tourism

Palm Beach County is Florida’s Cultural Capital with more than 42,000 arts and cultural offerings each year from more than 200 world-class organizations. The County is home to more major cultural organizations than any other coastal community in the Southeastern United States.

Our cultural organizations served more than 3.4 million people last year who reported a satisfaction rate of 94 percent.

Over half of these attendees are repeat customers. Forty-four percent are first time audience members.

Our cultural arm extends to more than 22 nature attractions and 35 arts-centric festivals.

We have four distinct arts districts where artists, emerging to mid-career, make and show their work.

The arts and culture industry supports 6,000 jobs and generates $23 million in local and state revenue annually.

Arts and culture accounts for $250 million in economic impact annually.
