“Billy and Me,” a new play by Wall Street Journal drama critic Terry Teachout, receives its world premiere on December 8 at Palm Beach Dramaworks. Teachout has described “Billy and Me” as “a work of fiction freely based on fact.” The play speculates on the tempestuous friendship of playwrights Tennessee Williams and William Inge. Palm Beach Dramawork’s Producing Artistic Director William Hayes, who originally suggested the idea to Teachout, directs the premiere, which runs through January 7, 2018.
Shows are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 8 p.m. on Saturday.
