The legacy of American song man and activist, Woody Guthrie, is being celebrated and rediscovered this summer in “Woody Guthrie’s American Song.”
Five multi-talented actor/musicians (Cat Greenfield, Don Noble, Sean Powell, and Jeff Raab, all making their PBD debuts, and Julie Rowe, fresh off her performance as Dora Strang in Equus) join a local acoustic folk, band–The Lubben Brothers–bringing youthful energy to Guthrie’s amazing life, stories and songs. Bruce Linser directs.
