Interactive, family friendly learning experiences are available at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium all summer long. Travel Adventures asks, “How do we travel over land, sea, and air?” The idea is the prompt creative thinking so kids and family members can plan and build their own vehicles that can move through all kinds of terrain, like mountains, oceans, jungles, and deserts.
Visitors are encouraged to dress as pilots, sailors, racers and world explorers as they take the wheel of life-sized toy vehicles–made from LEGO bricks–and engage in dynamic play. Duplo bricks will be available for younger builders. Share new inventions at a photography booth set up with various a destination backdrops, like San Francisco, Paris, Hawaii and more real-life destinations, all while contemplating modes of travel and travel history.
