The “Night” Concert: A Tribute to Elie Weisel

Witness dramatic readings from Elie Wiesel’s personal memoir and images of the holocaust, accompanied by the haunting music of holocaust survivor and composer Lieb Glantz in this magnificent evening of remembrance. Glantz’ score will be performed by a 60-piece symphony orchestra and a 100-member choir, with accomplished vocal soloists, internationally renowned Russian-American pianist Elena Klionsky, and oboist Marsha Heller.

The 100-voice ’Night’ Choral Ensemble includes Schola Cantorum of Florida (formerly the Delray Beach Chorale), the FAU Chamber Singers, and guest choristers under the direction of Prof. Patricia Fleitas, with tenor soloist Daniel Mutlu and pianist Elena Klionsky.
