The Art of Movement

In Partnership with Maryann Payne and MAP Dance
Join Maryann Arnita Payne and MAP Dance for a creative and friendly family experience. In this two-part workshop participants will be introduced to the basic principles of dance and painting through explorations in shape, space and rhythm. Part 1 of the workshop will include a short performance by Ms. Payne with the opportunity to move and dance with her to a variety of music. Part 2 will incorporate movement and music with gestures and watercolor painting. No previous experience in dance or art is required. All ages are welcome.
