Summertime Magic at Sol Children’s Theatre

Boca Raton’s Sol Children Theatre is a not-for-profit theatre organization that strives to provide children with a safe, secure and highly professional theatre experience. The theatre’s  Summer Repertory Theatre program hits the stage in July, showcasing talented young actors and rising stars.


July 12-14 and 26-28: “Peter and the Starcatcher”

A wild theatrical adaptation of the best-selling novels by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, “Peter and the Starcatcher” upends the age-old story of Peter Pan, The Boy Who Would Never Grow up. With everything from marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling friends and unlikely heroes, this musical playfully explores the depths of greed and despair, and the strength residing in bonds of friendship, duty and love.

July 19-21 and August 2-4: “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical”

Inspired by the genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award-winning “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical” brings to life the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her destiny. Recipient of more than 40 international awards, this musical revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiration gathered from a girl who dreams of a better life.
