Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day

Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.

Participating museums in Palm Beach County:

Boca Raton Museum of Art, 501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. Founded in 1950 by the Art Guild of Boca Raton, the Museum’s collections, innovative exhibitions, and educational programming are international in scope and reflect the creative expression of the Florida region. Tickets

Delray Beach Historical Society, 3 NE 1st Street, Delray Beach. The Delray Beach Historical Society shares and preserves the history of South Florida. The Historical Society maintains an extensive archive of more than 25,000 artifacts, as well as four historic buildings, three interactive exhibits and a house museum open to the public! Tickets

Children’s Science Explorium at Sugar Sand Park, 300 S. Military Trail, Boca Raton. The Children’s Science Explorium, located in Sugar Sand Park, is a hands-on science center designed for children 5 – 12 years of age and their caregivers. From rockets to molecules, the museum engages and teaches children about the fantastic world of science!
