Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival’s “Shakespeare by the Sea XXVIII” offers up a full-length, fully staged production of “Antony and Cleopatra” this season. These open-air performances take place under a canopy of stars at Carlin Park’s Seabreeze Amphitheatre, and are accompanied by refreshing ocean breezes.
Audiences need not dress up, but are encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets and picnic basket, or partake of on-site food truck concessions. Parking is free and gates open at 6:30 p.m. Performances begin at 8 p.m. on July 12-15 and July 19-22.
Expect a large, friendly crowd of theater enthusiasts, some with children and pets, all anticipating a fabulous performance of this tragic love story. The atmosphere will be festive and respectful as the sun sets and the stage lights glow.
