Artist and sculptor Russell Bellamy combines industrial materials, liquids and movement to produce 3D structures with varied conceptual themes that relate to everyday observations and circumstances. Bellamy grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, studied art at Georgetown College and received his MFA from the University of Cincinnati. He has exhibited work throughout the United States and in France and New Zealand. Currently an Associate Professor of Art and Department Chair at Beacon College, the first accredited four year college in the country exclusively for students with learning disabilities, ADHD and gifted LD, in Leesburg Florida, Russel’s work is part of personal, corporate and government collections throughout the United States and Europe. Some highlights include CSX, the City of Orlando, the La Maison du Chevalier Gallery and the Donald L and Dorothy Jacob’s Collection.
