20 Guatemalan artists will show their original paintings, sculpture, photography, mixed media works and more for two days in an exhibit called “Reflejos” and hosted by The Guatemalan Tomorrow Fund at The Box Gallery on November 3 and 4. The weekend celebrates 25 years of ongoing rural education efforts in Guatemala by The Guatemalan Tomorrow Fund and is being sponsored by the Law Firm of Searcy, Denny, Scarola, Barnhard & Shipley, Dr. Rafael E. Cordero, and Dr. Elio Raul Novoa.
“Reflejos” will be open to the public on Friday, November 3, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday, November 4, from 3-6 p.m.
There is a ticketed opening reception from 6-8 p.m., which will be attended by the artists and members of The Guatemala Tomorrow Fund, which is flying in the artists and their works to facilitate better understanding of Guatemalan culture and people.
