About the Exhibition
All life requires light. Artists seem uniquely able to surf the shadows, seek the rainbows, capture the glimmers, and corral light in their work. The art exhibited here depends on light to complete its narrative. From the objects captured on film by the available light through a pinhole camera lens, the wax encaustic-layered painting catching shimmers in the raking light, the dome with swirls enlivened by the light within, and the stained glass casting rainbows on the walls, these artworks display the prismatic qualities of light.
