Opera: Stories Told Through Singing

In Partnership with Palm Beach Opera
Palm Beach Opera brings families together through the magic of OPERA: Stories Told Through Singing. Education and Community Engagement Associate Abbey Ward leads you and your family through an interactive sing-a-long story telling experience followed by an art activity for all to experience and enjoy. This 90 minute morning session will have families playing together, learning together, and singing together.

*This program is likely best for families with children ages 3+.
Palm Beach Opera

About: Abbey Ward recently joined Palm Beach Opera as the Education and Community Engagement Associate and will sing with Palm Beach Opera’s chorus for her third season. Some of her favorite operatic roles include Barbarina in “The Marriage of Figaro,” Papagena in “The Magic Flute,” and the title role in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Patience.” Abbey has a Master’s in Voice Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor’s from Wheaton College Conservatory.
