
The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge offers a multitude of exciting activities that allow visitors to explore a remnant of the once vast northern Everglades with the chance to see deer, otters, bobcats and alligators up close!
This summer you can take a break from the scorching South Florida sun and visit the Refuge for completely unique experience: a moonlight guided canoe tour! This guided tour offers visitors a chance to navigate their way through a portion of the refuge interior while basking in the light of the moon and stars.
Canoes are provided by the Refuge for a rental fee of $35. Each canoe can seat up to 3 people. Long-sleeve shirts, long pants, bug spray and flashlights are all advised. The tour meets at Lee Road Boat Ramp. Reservations are required. Call (561) 733-0192.
