The harp is an elegant, regal instrument that has existed for thousands of years in various forms. While Ruby Hummingbird has only played for over 20 of those years, she’s still one of the area’s best authorities on the instrument. The Cultural Council welcomes prospective harp players to an introductory workshop led by Ruby on Saturday, September 12 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. All instruments will be provided by Ruby herself. It costs $20 to attend and is free to the first five Cultural Council members who sign up.
