I Have a Dream: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration in the Project Space

Presented in partnership with the Martin Luther King Jr. Coordinating Committee of West Palm Beach, join us for an artful afternoon as we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. at the Cultural Council’s outdoor Project Space, located directly behind the organization’s headquarters. This event is free and open to the public.

Throughout the day, you can enjoy live art demonstrations presented by featured artists from the Council’s Karibu: A Celebration of Black Artists in Palm Beach County exhibition, including Anthony Burks Sr., Scott Jeffries, and Raquel Williams. There will also be family-friendly art activities and live performances by Fresh Wind Dance Group, Tony McDowell’s Peace Camp Actors, In-Time Youth Choir Singers, orators Tristan Blake and Derron Blake, violinist Elysse Wilson, and musician Matt Brown.

For the safety of all participants, facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the entirety of the event.
