FAU Festival Rep

FAU’s Department of Theatre and Dance kicks off the summer with their 21st annual Festival Rep. Consisting of one play, one musical and one big band concert, Festival Rep brings together talented students, distinguished faculty and guest professional equity artists.


June 7-22: Sabrina Fair

Once called “the best American comedy in more than a decade”, Sabrina Fair is a modern retelling of the Cinderella story that flips the fairy tale on its head. Charming the audience with a strong female character, witty dialogue, and plenty of romance and comedy, Sabrina Fair is everything that makes summer enchanting, fun, and beautiful.

July 5-21: Sister Act

Nominated for several Tony Awards including Best Musical, Sister Act is a celebration of music and a pure joy to experience. Based on the 1992 film, and featuring incredible music by Oscar and Tony winning composer Alan Menken, the sensational feel-good musical comedy Sister Act is a riot a minute!

July 13, 7 p.m. and July 14, 2 p.m.: Big Band Hits

The Florida Wind Symphony Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Kyle Prescott, presents Big Band Hits from the Golden Age. Enjoy an evening of hits from the 30s, 40s and 50s, featuring favorites from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and more!
