Special guest Rolando Chang Barrero of The Box Gallery in West Palm Beach will speak about his work in Being Heard, Being Seen during this tour of the exhibition.
About Rolando Chang Barrero:
Rolando Chang Barrero is an American-born artist and a 1990 graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he was awarded a Reyerson Fellowship. He was born 1962 in Coconut Grove, Florida. He currently resides in West Palm Beach, Florida and was recently awarded the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s Muse Award for Outstanding Cultural Leadership and The Raizes Award for Outstanding Leadership. Barrero is a recipient of a Congressional Letter of Commendation for Arts Programming.
Rolando has been recognized as Best Artist and Best Gallery in Palm Beach by South Florida Gay News for numerous years. Recent invitational engagements include The Ringling Museum and The Norton Museum of Art.
