Delray Beach New Year's Eve Celebration

The City of Delray Beach bids farewell to 2017 with a giant street party. A DJ at Old School Square’s Pavilion provides the music. Dine at nearby restaurants or imbibe at local watering holes in this art-filled downtown landscape while sporting festive “celebration crowns.” Food trucks will also be on hand with tasty goodies to sample along the way. A variety of craft activities, a game tent and a vintage game room, along with a Resolution Wall, are all on hand to play with. There’s also a photo booth, face painters and friendly, old-fashioned games like Corn Hole, Jenga and Connect Four. For a nominal fee, “ice”-skating, a carousel and mini-golf are available, and of course there’s the city’s 100-ft. tall holiday tree. Fireworks will be launched from the top of the Old School Square Parking Garage at 9 p.m.

IMPORTANT: Arrive early on New Year’s Even to park and walk, as Atlantic Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4 p.m.
