FAU’s University Symphony, conducted by Laura Joella, presents Daniel Pearl World Music Days “Harmony for Humanity,” a celebration of hope’s triumph over despair and hatred. This opening concert of the orchestra’s 25th anniversary season includes Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92; Giorgio Mirto’s “The Grave Under the Hill” from “Norwegian Memories” with Dr. Ken Keaton, classical guitar soloist; Bernstein’s “Slava! A Political Overture” and Grieg’s Suite No. 1 from “Peer Gynt.”
