Rolando Chang Barrero came north from Miami to found a visual arts community in Palm Beach County, opening warehouses in Boynton Beach for that purpose, and since then has opened The Box Gallery in West Palm Beach and become a player in Democratic Party politics in the county. Gretel Sarmiento of Palm Beach ArtsPaper talks to Chang Barrero about the challenges and rewards of melding art and activism.
