Family plays an important role in the history of the Flagler Museum. The Museum’s founder, Jean Flagler Matthews, was a granddaughter of Henry Flagler, and she preserved Whitehall and its collections as a way to honor his memory.
Celebrate Grandparents Day at the Flagler Museum, and make new memories by taking part in family-themed activities. Grandparents and grandchildren work together to create a family tree and write postcards to friends. Visitors will also have the chance to have a family photo taken to commemorate this special day.
Museum open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
