Boca Ballet Theatre: "Coppélia"

Boca Ballet Theatre presents a full-length, fully staged midsummer production of Coppélia, a farcical comedy about a boy, a girl, another girl who’s not really a girl but a doll, and an eccentric doll-maker who attempts to bring his beautiful doll Coppélia to life.  Choreographed by Dan Guin to the  music of Leo Delibes, the production stars Nicole Muratov as Coppélia. Muratov, from the Ballet De Bordeaux (France) is paired with Jared Matthews as Franz. Matthews is a principal dancer with the Houston Ballet. An outstanding company of young dancers from Boca Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive program will fill the stage. The projection is possible thanks to support from the Albert E. & Birdie W. Einstein Fund.
