All the paintings in this retrospective are works of Helen Levin’s mature style developed in the new millennium. The art reflects her passion for rigorous involvement with the discipline of abstraction, honed in an intense struggle. Levin can be described as a “formalist,” and through improvisation, she learns and keeps learning about the mystery of the innate spirit of herself.
