“My Feathered Friends”

Franne Lee is a well-known award-winning production and costume designer for theatre, television and film. Over the past decade, Lee has also gained a reputation as a visual artist.

In conjunction with the Cultural Council’s “Natural Narrative,” Lee will host a lecture and discuss her incredible bird paintings, a series she’s been working on since her exhibition “The Nature of Things” premiered in the fall of 2008. For those interested in the aviary arts, Lee will also answer questions such as “Why birds?”, “How does one paint birds?” and so much more.
