Singer and songwriter Michael D’Amore was born in upstate N.Y. and raised and resided in New Jersey for most of his life. Coming from a musical family, it wasn’t a surprise that his passion would eventually become his livelihood.
For 35 years, Michael has been a professional entertainer hailing from The New York metropolitan area. Michael’s performances cover several genres with special attention devoted to harmony, which is one of his passions.
Michael currently performs as a one man show showcasing the very best of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and more. He is also a member of The Capris and proud to sing lead on the their hits “There’s A Moon Out Tonight” and “Morse Code Of Love” for music fans around the world. In his career, he has had the pleasure of being part of JT Carter’s Crests, (JT is the original Bass vocalist and founding member of The Crests) a Blue-Eyed soul show partnering him with Blues Hall of Famer Angel Rissoff and proud to have played keyboards and sing behind Jim Yester, original and founding member of The Association. Most recently Michael was featured on the PBS special Doo Wop Pop and Soul produced by TJ Lubinsky.
