Intro to Portrait Painting

Join artist Neal Hanowitz as he guides you through his techniques for achieving a quick portrait – using yourself as the model! The instructor will be guiding you in a step-by step manner to properly layout the portrait onto the canvas, and color mixing techniques that you can use for other works. Students will be using their cell phone cameras to take the photos, similar to Hanowitz’ own technique. This workshop will be using acrylic paint on canvas paper. All Materials will be provided. No Experience necessary!
