Art Extravaganza: Lighthouse Artcenter Offers Something For Everyone This Holiday Season

Get ready for an artistic celebration this holiday season as Lighthouse ArtCenter unveils an art extravaganza from December 7 – 16, offering various creative gift-giving options. Hundreds of gifts will be available in multiple mediums, including paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculptures, textiles, glass, and more. The festivities begin with an opening reception for two exhibitions, ‘Deck the Walls’ and ‘Lighthouse ArtCenter Faculty Vernissage,’ on Thursday, December 7, from 5 – 7 p.m. In addition to the large selection of art, guests can enjoy live faculty demonstrations that include painting by Ralph Papa, photography by Bob Gibson, paper mache by Chad Steve, 3D printing by Ron Shaw, glass by Carolyn Austin, and jewelry by Lisa Johnson. Refreshments and lite bites will be served. Admission is free to the gallery for members and a $5 suggested donation for nonmembers. The opening reception begins an exciting ten-day period filled with art, events, and community. The art will be available throughout the exhibitions, and then on Saturday, December 10, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., additional art will be available at the Annual Holiday Sale.
