Featuring the Jazz on J Street Ensemble

Enjoy an evening with professional musicians playing jazz standards and songs from the Great American Songbook. The program will include vocal selections and instrumental improvisation.
Founder and host of Jazz on J Street, flutist Blanche Williams, brings to the stage an impressive group of seasoned professional musicians for an unforgettable Jazz Concert Variety Show!
The concert will be presented under the music direction of jazz pianist, Rick Moore, founder and president of the Jupiter Jazz & Performing Arts Society, and co-leader of the legendary Sunday Jazz Jams at Double Roads Tavern in Jupiter. Its complementing rhythm section will include the highly sought after jazz drummer Jeff Abbott, well-known for his impeccable precision and timing. International jazz performer/composer Burt Boice holding down the bottom end of the band on bass.
The trio will provide a strong foundation for alto saxophonist Gary Levy, a “musician’s musician” from the Warne Marsh School of Jazz Improvisation.
Bringing voice to the Ensemble are its Ladies of Jazz, Yvette Norwood-Tiger, sharing her pure Great American Songbook interpretations and Lynn Simone, delivering her signature soulful rhythm-driven style.
