“We look forward to kicking off ‘Art Acquisitions’—the final main exhibition of our 2021-2022 season—while encouraging residents and visitors to think differently about collecting,” said Dave Lawrence, the Cultural Council’s president & CEO. “Reflecting our mission to grow the arts in Palm Beach County, the goal of this exhibition is to provide an avenue for emerging and seasoned collectors to establish relationships with and collect pieces from local artists. It’s a fantastic (and enjoyable) way to support Palm Beach County’s cultural community and keep artists working.”
The Cultural Council will host a sneak peek of the show with a Member Preview on Thursday, April 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at its downtown Lake Worth Beach headquarters. Wine and light bites will be served. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment by local musicians Chris & Alex.
The exhibition is generously sponsored by The Palm Beach Art Collection, Ellen Liman and Florida Weekly. Member preview sponsors include The French Wine Merchant, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and The Paradise Express.
