Art Class with Craig McInnis

Palm Beach County artist, Craig McInnis, leads a class in basic drawing technique with goals set for each student based on their skill level and experience participants should bring pens, pencils and sketchpads. Light refreshments will be served.

Highland Elementary School – World Music Ensemble

Visit the Cultural Council from 2-3 p.m. during the 20th annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival for a special performance by the Highland Elementary School’s World Music Ensemble lead by Emmanuel Fergile.

Immediately after the performance, kids can join the students for a special presentation by cultural anthropologist, Dr. Beatriz Morales Faba, in honor of African-American History Month, followed by a workshop facilitated by Resource Depot where kids will create a percussion instrument to play and take home. Limited spots available. Sign up in the Cultural Council lobby the day of the event.
