This group exhibition will display both visual art, and selected poetry from the participants of the Free on the Inside writing program.

This call for submission is for visual artworks of all mediums and materials, 2D & 3D, that are related to, or an interpretation of the phrase “Free on the Inside”. The works will be curated and selected pieces will be shown in the main gallery space at Arts Warehouse.

The Free on the Inside program is designed to introduce, educate, and cultivate the positive impact of poetry in the prison system. These programs are specifically designed to awaken moral responsibility, positive and effective communication skills, self-awareness and positive outlets to incarcerated men and women in various correctional institutions in Florida.
