The Northwest Regional Exhibition space is holding an open call for South Florida artists to participate in Lunar Visions, our Lunar New Year Art Exhibit highlighting artwork created by local Asian American artists. This exhibition will be on display from January 11th to February 6th, 2023.
The deadline for submissions is December 2nd, 2022. Selected artists will be notified by December 9th, 2022.
All art forms and mediums will be considered, as long as the subject matter is in line with the themes of the exhibit, and appropriate for all public library visitors. All pieces must be original work by the artist.
The theme for this exhibit is the New Year, and all the associated dreams and hopes we have for it. Due to the layout of the exhibit space, artwork that projects more than 6ā³ from the wall, and 3D work larger than 30āH x 17.5āW will not be considered. Selected artists must commit to displaying their work for the full length of the exhibit (January 11th to February 6th ).
Artist Eligibility
All South Florida based Asian American artists eighteen years of age or older, living and working in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties are encouraged to apply.
