The Specific Cultural Project (SCP) grant is designed to fund a single cultural project, program, exhibition or series taking placing within the grant period (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023). The grant activities must support the mission of the artist and further the state’s cultural objectives.
Grants for Artists
All applicants must be Florida-based artists and may not be enrolled in a degree or certificate program. Artists applying as individuals must create a profile in the grant portal .

- Individual Artist project grants supports artist-driven projects that have public benefit and enhance the State of Florida through the creation or presentation of artistic work. Individual Artist projects can be in all artistic disciplines, genres and styles.
- Arts in Education promotes arts and culture in education. There are two categories for artists.
- Artist Performances on Tour provides funding to performing artists for touring activities to underserved communities; touring activities include both a performance and an educational component.
- Teaching Artist funds artists providing educational services in Florida public schools. Applicants must be able to provide evidence of classroom experience.
The next application cycle is April 1 – June 1, 2021 for the 2023 fiscal year.
