Old School Square, the historic arts and entertainment campus in the heart of downtown Delray Beach, is calling for artist submissions for its 8th annual Squares on the Square fundraiser in support of The Cornell Art Museum, located within its five-acre campus. The nonprofit organization is welcoming submissions from artists at every skill level- from aspiring and hobbyists, to students and professionals. Artists must be willing to donate their work to be featured in an exhibition at the Cornell Art Museum that kicks off during the Delray Beach First Friday Art Walk on Friday, August 6, and remain on display until the Squares on the Square Sale and Cocktail reception on August 25, where they will be sold. All proceeds from the artwork sold will go to The Cornell Art Museum in support of future cultural programming.

SUBMISSIONS: To participate, artist must donate their original artwork in any medium within the four size requirements accepted- 6×6 inches, 8×8 inches, 10×10 inches, or 12×12 inches. All art must be flat-backed and ready to hang. To register art, artists must download and complete the Submission Form by no later than July 8, 2021 at 4 p.m. EST. The artwork will be sold at incremental price points by size- $35, $55, $75, and $95- at the sale and reception on Aug. 25, with 100% of proceeds supporting the museum. Artwork will be on display at the Cornell Art Museum within the Old School Square campus at 51 N. Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida.
