The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood is thrilled to announce the Open Call for its 2022 Florida Biennial. The Biennial is juried by Ylva Rouse, Senior Curator at MOCA Jacksonville. The exhibition is organized by the Center’s Curator of Exhibitions Meaghan Kent.
The 11th edition of the Center’s Biennial is open to visual artists living in the state of Florida to submit their artwork for the exhibition that opens October 15, 2022 and continues through February 5, 2023.
The Open Call is now open with a deadline of May 16, 2022.
The 2022 Florida Biennial will offer a $1,000 honorarium to one artist for a Gallery 2 solo exhibition in 2023. All exhibiting artists will receive a Friend-level membership, which provides free admission to more than 1,100 cultural institutions as part of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) program.
Award:
$1,000 Honorarium for a solo exhibition in 2023.
Entry Fee: $25
Eligibility:
Proposals will be accepted from individuals who live, work, study, or maintain a studio in the state of Florida.
