The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County will bring the outdoors indoors during its "Art Outside the Walls: En Plein Air" exhibition opening to the public April 11th, with a preview party Thursday, April 10th at 5:30 p.m. The exhibition will feature the work of Palm Beach County artists who have embraced the French expression "en plein air" or to paint in the open air.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Paul and Sandra Goldner Conservatory of Performing Arts has announced the recipients of its annual Conservatory Awards. Named for donors who have made the physical construction of the Conservatory possible, the eight awards are merit-based acknowledgements of hard work, positive attitudes and willingness to go the extra mile.

The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County will bring the outdoors indoors during its "Art Outside the Walls: En Plein Air" exhibition opening to the public April 11th, which will feature the work of Palm Beach County artists who have embraced the French expression "en plein air" or to paint in the open air. The Council's main exhibition space will show off the spectacular results of a series of "paint-outs" the Council organized through the Plein Air Palm Beach artist group at 10 inspiring locations from Boca Raton to Jupiter.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is proud to announce the seventh annual series of Kravis On Broadway, which will present six smash hit musicals. From the creators of South Park and winner of nine Tony Awards, The Book of Mormon will play a limited one week engagement on December 16 -21, 2014. The New York Times calls it “the best musical of this century” and Entertainment Weekly says it’s “the funniest musical of all time." Kravis on Broadway Announces 2014-15 Series Anchored by The Book of Mormon

Fatima NeJame, president and chief executive officer of the world-renowned Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC), today announced that the nonprofit organization is issuing its first public call for an Artist-in-Residence. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2014. "Our new Artist-in-Residence program offers artists/photographers the opportunity to live and work in Palm Beach County for a minimum of three months, complete with monthly honorarium, dedicated studio space at PBPC and a free studio apartment in Palm Beach,” says Ms. NeJame.

Muse Awards Raises Nearly $200,000 for Arts Education Programs

Every hit stage production begins with auditions, and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre is encouraging local professional performers to try out. The first of the Theatre’s auditions for the shows in its 2014/15 season, Spark Your Imagination, will take place in Jupiter on Friday, April 11, for Glengarry Glen Ross (onstage Feb. 8 – 22). Performers are asked to be ready to read passages from the script. They should bring a headshot and résumé.

Maltz Jupiter Theatre invites local performers to audition for next season

Nearly four hundred guests attended the benefit and live auction, held in the Grand Ballroom at the PGA National Resort Grand Ballroom in Palm Beach Gardens. Inspired by the Theatre’s production of the Tony Award®-winning musical The King and I (March 18 – April 6), the spectacular affair transported guests back to a wonderland of 19th century Siam, complete with a gilded gold dance floor, cherry blossoms, glittering tables bathed in candlelight, magnificent floral centerpieces, Siamese lanterns strung from the ceiling, splendid blush pink and purple lighting and more.
