Impact of Giving

make a gift

Each year, the Cultural Council funds programs which ensure that our young people have the best possible opportunities to reap the proven benefits that arts and culture bring to the educational experience.

Educators feel the positive impacts of programs funded by the Council each year:

  • "I love [The Teacher's Guide to Art and Culture in Palm Beach County]! I couldn't wait to get it this year! It is the best resource for planning field trips. It includes all the important info I need. Thanks!" -- Teacher, Sunrise Park Elementary

  • "Just keep doing what you're doing! Thanks so much!!" -- Grandview Preparatory

  • "Thank you for sharing information on how the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County also supports educational choice in the community." -- Dr. Eric J. Smith, Commissioner of Education, Florida Dept. of Education

...I feel blessed to have received this scholarship [to the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta] and my children have benefited in so many ways. They have been inspired artistically to create beautiful paintings, sculptures, prints, mobiles and drawings. They have used their skills to create games and have made friends at the camp. The camp has given them enthusiasm about art and imagination. They have been filled with pride in their completed pieces and been eager to show all their friends and family their creations. We truly appreciate the Council's generous scholarship and hope that many other families get to enjoy this wonderful gift in the future. -- Karen Z.
  • "Art is fun and you get to show what you feel. Art is important because people can express themselves." -- Gabriella S.

  • "...you can express your feelings on paper instead of on others plus it helps our behavior. There's no right or wrong in art. You can draw what's inside your mind." -- Taneria T., 9 years old
