State of the Arts License Plate

Show your support for the arts in Palm Beach County by purchasing a Florida "State of the Arts" license plate. The specialty license plate was introduced in 1994 by Florida State Legislature to raise funds for programming that benefits local arts and cultural projects across Florida.

By purchasing a Florida "State of the Arts" license plate in Palm Beach County, you are making a charitable donation to support artists on local projects that benefit and impact our community.

How much does it cost?

At license plate renewal time, the plate costs $32 over the cost of your regular renewal rate. To purchase any other time, the cost is merely $32.

Where does the money go?

$20 of the $32 the plate costs is tax deductible and gets returned back to Palm Beach County. Funds are awarded to Artists In Residency Grantees in Palm Beach County and programs such as Building Learning Communities through Arts and Culture.
